SOVA dance, logo and identity update



SOVA is a dance school in Israel, that works for Russian-speaking customers. 
It invites people of all ages to learn different styles of dance. The school has been running for several years and now a new branch is opening in Haifa. Therefore, the owner of the school decided to update the logo and corporate identity.
The main task was to create fresh and modern style that is attractive to different age groups of clients. The customer asked to remove unnecessary details, keep the purple color and add a bright accent.
For the logo I used font “Brandink Sans”, modifying it a little. In Russian “sova” means “an owl”, so I designed the letter “O” in the form of a minimalistic silhouette of an owl, made in purple. This element will also be used for identity.
As an accent, I suggested using a bright green color - fresh and eye-catching.


The main task was to design the entrance to the new branch - to come up with a design for a sign and an external banner describing the school’s services.
